Do you remember going down to the kitchen for breakfast and finding the room full of the smell of porridge that had been on the wood stove since five in the morning? The orange juice was always freshly squeezed and the table had a red and white checked cloth. The bacon was frying and the butter sat defiantly yellow in the T G Green blue and white striped butter dish.
